Hi Donna! I'm sorry I'm late in responding. I would omit the cayenne entirely and cut the chili powder in half if that's still not mild enough. I love that you wanted to give it away as a gift!

Hi Natalie,
I was so excited to make this taco seasoning to give as gifts. I made tacos to try it before giving it out. It was a bit spicy for our liking, even with cutting back on the amount of cayenne pepper. My question is what can I do or what can I add to the taco mix that I already made to lessen the spiciness? Thanks

I am enjoying your recipes for the spice mixes. I would usually buy the mixes in a package and they are pricey. Yours are delicious and I can make as much or as little as I want and they don't have all those things I cannot pronounce or do not want to eat. Thanks!
