In reply to <a href="https://www.perrysplate.com/2012/02/cauliflower-pizza-crust.html#comment-46996">Robyn</a>.

Hi Robyn. I'm sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner! I usually bake it on a silicone liner or parchment. I believe I've done it directly on the pan before, too. Maybe your crust mixture is too thick? You could also remove some of water by squeezing the cauliflower in a dishtowel or some cheesecloth. That also helps it to not have such an eggy texture.

Absolutely love the taste of this crust! I had one problem, though. I don't like to bake directly on metal, so I used parchment paper. The bottom of the crust ended up soggy. Even after flipping it halfway, it still didn't work out. Do you bake yours directly on the pan? Do you grease it first?
Thanks!

My friend turned me onto this and I am so excited to try it. I used to make a rice pizza casserole, adapted from a pizza my mom used to make using rice and parmesan for the crust. It is absolutely delish. You have to eat it with a fork, but well worth it. I discovered a way to make cauliflower rice as a sub for grain rice, so I can still have the casserole too. Thanks for the recipe for those of us who need healthier alternatives in our diets.
