					<description><![CDATA[I&#039;m coming late to the party, but I just found this recipe, went into the kitchen and made these.  So excited!  Yes, I used the deglet noor dates as that&#039;s what I had.  The secret to these bars always seems to me that if they&#039;re a bit dry (not sticking together) to sprinkle a little water (1 tsp - 2 Tb, depending) over the &quot;dough&quot; as I&#039;m mixing it together.  Of course, maybe it&#039;s because I&#039;m in the desert and my dried fruit is drier than usual.  Anyway -- a sprinkle of water worked with my bars tonight.  I&#039;d also added 2 Tb. of unswt. dried coconut.. love the flavor and always put some coconut in my regular cc cookies.  Going in to try one riiiight now!]]></description>
