Does this recipe do well with a double batch? Or is that too much rice in the Instant Pot? I have a 6qt instant pot.

In reply to Lori D. @Lori D, this rice freezes well. Make the full batch. And then I will let it cool then divvy up into sandwich size Ziploc baggies to put in the freezer. When it's time to thaw I will put the bag in a bowl of warm water, or in the microwave on defrost.

In reply to Lori D. @Lori D, normally the cooking time remains the same on the Instant Pot when you use half the ingredients. Give it a try. You can always add more time to cook it some more. Let us know how it turns out. I love rice in my IP! I’m also an empty nester.

There is only two of us (empty nesters). That is a lot of rice for us. Any suggestions for 1/2 batch? I can cut the ingredients in half but what about cook time. I have never used my IP for rice. For the two of us, our little rice cooked is actually easier
