@Kathryn, I know this comment is coming years and years too late.. But a tip is to add the tortilla to the oil and fry it lightly on both sides, not fry it where it turns color but to lightly warm them and have them wet and pliable.. Add your filling and fold over and then fry them :)]]></description>

But this way with just 1/4 cup oil sounds good, too! I have a tortilla press too but it&#039;s useless. At least for flour tortillas. They always come out tiny and super thick.
