Yes. You are correct. On both accounts. Because 80% of my traffic is from the US, I haven't prioritized finding a recipe card that does the conversion and I'm not going to do conversions for each of the over 600 recipes on my site individually. I hope that converter helps you with this recipe and that you enjoy it. I do hope to have a calculator built into my recipe card in the future.

Hi Leesa! I'd start with 1/2-1 teaspoon if you like it spicy and work up from there.

We made this for Pi Day this year and everyone looooooooved it! It is like a pineapple upside down cake and a lemon meringue pie had a baby and it got the best traits of each of them! Really yummy and different, making it again for Easter!

This looks like a really good recipe. The world is not just the USA however. The rest of the world runs on the metric system so maybe some conversions might help. I am going to give it a go though because it looks so good. There are imperial to metric converters around.

Oh my heavens!!!!!!!! This looks like the exact thing I have been looking for to use as a seasoning for rice. If I was going to use this to season 2 cups white rice, how much seasoning do you think I should start with to get the right spiciness (we love SPICY, lol) I'm not much of a cook, that's why I'm asking. I'm going to go online right now to buy the dried chiles, so I will await your reply with baited breath. Love the site!
